Quality: noun,
plural qual·i·ties, 1 a: peculiar and essential character
b: an inherent feature, 2 a: degree of excellence
The International
Commission on Academic Accreditation, Inc. was founded to make quality accreditation
available to all Christian educational institutions from K-12 through seminary
no matter how new or how low a budget they work with.

At ICAAI we have had years of experience which included
observation and participation in Christian education. We have a vision to
use this experience to help any institute of higher learning become better
in what they do. We do not have all the answers, but we have an experience
base from which to draw.

You will find the staff at ICAAI
friendly when you call or when you need help. Most of the time the phones
are answered by a real person, not an automated computer. We try to offer
cheerful and comforting solutions when you have questions or problems. We are glad to have
a part in making your vision a success.
Low Cost: noun,
1 a: the amount or equivalent paid
or charged for something : price b: the
outlay or expenditure (as of effort or sacrifice) made to achieve an object
The cost of becoming a member
of ICAAI is below most other accrediting body. The reason? The International Commission
on Academic Accreditation, Inc. is a 501(c)3
non-profit ministry. We did not set up the organization to become wealthy,
but to share our knowledge and expertise at the lowest cost available.
Excellence: noun,
1. the quality of being excellent : excellent: adjective 1: archaic : superior 2: very good of its kind : eminently
good : first-class
Excellence is a rather hard
word to define properly. As an adjective, excellent gives description to
noun. The goals and visions of ICAAI are excellent source of
help to a struggling or successful institution. We believe excellence is
necessary when it comes to the things of God. God is not satisfied with second-rate.
Training: noun,
1 a: the act, process, or method
of one that trains b: the skill, knowledge, or experience
acquired by one that trains
ICAAI is one of the few accrediting
bodies that offers extensive training at the accrediting facilities. We conduct
training in the ICAAI offices in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. This not only saves you
money, it gives us better access to training materials, personnel and offers
a friendly, causal and informative setting. You do not have the expense of
bringing representatives to your facility. Some say good accrediting is not
possible without an on-site visit, but we have found that excellent training
can be done away from the home site.
Acceptance: noun, 1: an agreeing either expressly
or by conduct to the act or offer of another so that a contract is concluded
and the parties become legally bound 2: the quality or state of being
accepted or acceptable
If your are accepted by
the International
Commission on Academic Accreditation, Inc. you
have made your first step toward being accepted in the educational community.
There is a brotherhood in Christian education. That brotherhood is kindled
by good theology and acceptance in the arena of quality services being provided.
You may put out the thousands of dollars and years of effort to become regionally
accredited, but when you are finished, what have you gained. You have gained
acceptance by the secular community, but would you rather be accepted in the
worldly arena or in God's family?
Brainstorming: noun,
a group problem-solving technique that involves
the spontaneous contribution of ideas from all members of the group; also : the mulling over of ideas by
one or more individuals in an attempt to devise or find a solution to a problem
At ICAAI, brainstorming is a
part of the planning stages. We work together to bring new ideas, new techniques
and new technology to the Christian education field. We not only brainstorm
here in Siloam Springs, we ask for your impute, your ideas and suggestions to make
ICAAI better. Ideas are put on the table, discussed and doing so we reap a
harvest of quality innovations. ICAAI is not a one-man operation with one
man's ideas.
Strategies: noun, 1 a: a careful plan or method : a
clever stratagem b: the art of devising or employing
plans or stratagems toward a goal 2: an
adaptation or complex of adaptations
Good success requires good strategy.
ICAAI carefully plans its steps. Policies and procedures are not suggested
or required out of random ideas, but out of good strategy based upon the governing
laws and regulations. Our strategy is to operate efficiently and successfully
without compromising good Christain-like character.
Globalization: noun, : the
act or process of globalizing : the state of being
globalized; especially
: the development
of an increasingly integrated global economy
The International Commission on Academic
Accreditation, Inc. was conceived to be a global institution. Our goal
is to provide guidelines toward good Christian educational world-wide. We
are happy to provide accreditation to any Christian institution that chooses
to follow high standards and offer the best in training. Since our bottom
line is not to make money, we even work with educators in third-world countries.
Synergy:
noun, 1: synergism; broadly : combined action or operation
2: a
mutually advantageous conjunction or compatibility of distinct business participants
or elements (as resources or efforts)
ICAAI operates with the input
of various elements. The old saying and possible cliché, "two
heads are better than one" is still a truth. The more people we can combine
with, the better the outcome. Synergism is the key word to mutual success.
Affordability:
transitive verb, 1 a: to
manage to bear without serious detriment <you can't afford
to neglect your health> b: to be able to bear the cost
of <can't afford to be out of work long>
<able to afford a new car> 2: to make available, give forth
There is a difference
between low-cost and affordability. It is possible for something to have
a low-cost and yet not be affordable. Although our services are low-cost,
we work with candidate schools to make them affordable. We do this by setting
up payment plans that you can live with. Our desire it to proved quality
accreditation without becoming a financial burden. Of course, it takes money
to operate, but we can certainly do our part to work with any quality institution.
Recognition: noun, 1: the action of recognizing
: the state of being recognized: as a: acknowledgment; especially : formal acknowledgment of the
political existence of a government or nation
In the Christian education community it is important to be recognized. Competition
is great and those who are quickly recognizable are in the loop. ICAAI is
a relatively new accrediting body, therefore, is not as well known as some,
but we are becoming recognized for quality accreditation - not just a body
that shuffles papers and collects fees.
Ethics:
noun, 1 the discipline dealing with what is good and bad and
with moral duty and obligation 2 a: a
set of moral principles : a theory or system of moral
values <the present-day materialistic ethic>
<an old-fashioned work ethic> —often
used in plural but singular or plural in construction <an
elaborate ethics> <Christian ethics>
b plural but sing or plural in
constr : the principles
of conduct governing an individual or a group <professional
ethics> c: a
guiding philosophy d: a consciousness of moral importance
<forge a conservation ethic>
"Ethics" is a little word with a big meaning. Ethics,
sadly enough, has become second in a cross-section of today's society. Ethics
is a lifetime job. It means being upright in dealings, fair in business and
equal in distribution of a product of service. The International Commission on Academic
Accreditation, Inc. was conceived on the premise that God not only
desires ethics in our dealings, He requires it.
